Horse Stance – This is the second stance that a new student of Seishindo Kenpo will learn. Basic Natural Weapons and warming up will be practiced from this stance. It will help develop good balance and proper posture. The correct way to obtain a Horse Stance is to bend the knees slightly forward and force them out to the sides as though they were being pushed apart. The feet should be slightly wider than the width of the shoulders; the toes facing forward, and the weight distribution 50/50.
