Junelehua Kalaeloa Strode (aka June Strode) - is an actress, dancer, model and is the daughter of legendary movie actor, the late Woody Strode and Princess Luukialuana "Luana" Kalaeloa Strode, a descendant of Liliuokalani, the last great queen of Hawaii. During the 1960's, Strode appeared on TV commercials and did some small acting roles, even appearing with her father, Woody Strode in the 1975 movie, Winterhawk. June was best know for her appearance with partner Famous Hook on Dick Clarks American Band Stand during the 1960's.

In 1977 Junelehua met martial artist Frank Argelander through her father Woody Strode who was training under Argelander at the time. She just returned home from collage and decided to add Kenpo to her life. She began training and competing in nation competition and found great joy in learn the arts. Junelehua started her training when Argelander was still with BKF Kenpo. She transitioned into Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate when her husband joined the IKKA, and then followed him into the art of Seishindo Kenpo Karate.
