Martial Arts World Magazine Was an American Martial Art Magazine that's goal is simple; a magazine owned and operated by martial artist, with the object of bringing stories that the main stream martial art magazines were not covering. The magazine was founded in 1986 by, Bob McCauley, Frank Landers and Roger Hart. After the first printing, Landers vision for the Magazine was on a different path then the others and decided to leave, saving friendships over business. With Landers departure martial artist Jan Ford was brought in to keep things moving in a forward direction. The magazine would also change it's name to Martial Arts Magazine continuing forward.
